Yes. Every Galbald dome is engineered for year-round use. With the Arctic Four-Season insulation package, a heat source and proper platform, the domes perform comfortably through Canadian winters and summer heat alike.
We offer five sizes — 16' / 5M (The Retreat), 20' / 6M (The Escape), 23' / 7M (The Signature), 26' / 8M (The Grand) and 30' / 9M (The Estate). Each is designed for a different guest count and hospitality concept.
Yes. You can add a half bath or a full bathroom package with a shower, toilet and vanity. A full bathroom turns a dome into a complete self-contained suite.
Yes. Choose a basic kitchenette or a full kitchen with cooktop, sink, refrigerator and cabinetry — ideal for longer stays and private rentals.
We coordinate delivery across Canada. Most provinces receive an automated delivery estimate through our calculator; remote and off-grid locations may require a custom delivery quote.
Yes. We deliver to the United States and can provide an estimated delivery cost for many states. Some remote or mountain regions require a custom quote.
Delivery depends on your location and dome size. Our calculator provides an estimate instantly; final delivery pricing is confirmed in your written quote and accounts for access, distance and any special transport requirements.
Installation is priced by dome size and ranges roughly from $2,500 for The Retreat to $7,500 for The Estate. The exact figure appears in your delivered & installed estimate and final quote.
A typical dome is assembled in 2–5 days on a prepared platform, depending on size and selected options. Larger configurations with decks, bathrooms and lofts take a little longer.
Domes require a level platform — a wood deck, helical pier system, concrete pad or gravel pad depending on site and soil. We can supply a deck/platform package as part of your build.
Yes. We offer small, medium and large deck/platform packages and can coordinate platform construction as part of your delivered & installed project.
Permit and zoning requirements depend on your location and intended use, and should be confirmed with your local municipal authority. We can provide drawings and specifications to support your permit application, but we do not guarantee permit outcomes.
Absolutely. The domes are designed for short-term rentals and make exceptional, photogenic Airbnb inventory. Many of our customers run successful rental businesses with one or more domes.
